On 4 March 2022 Theresa of The Spinning Barn will be offering an all day workshop upstairs. Have you ever watched a hand spinner working wool into yarn and wanted to give it a go, or felt that your knitting, crochet or weaving skills could be even more creative if you could spin your own yarn? If so, this workshop is for you. The workshop is aimed at beginners but is also suitable as a refresher. It covers all aspects of this skill.
Theresa is a qualified trainer and assessor in the Life Long Learning sector, but more importantly is passionate about what she does and about passing her skills on.
The cost of the course is £60. Equipment will be available for you to use, or you are welcome to bring your own wheel. Theresa will supply as much fibre as is needed to complete your project on the day.
Refreshments (tea, coffee, biscuits) will be provided, but please bring your own lunch.
