On Saturday 19 November at 4pm we will be casting on an Icelandic-style sweater – Manou by Isabell Kraemer. The idea is that we will knit it together so that we can support each other through any difficulties, such as short rows and colourwork. Tea and cakes will be provided. We will meet at regular intervals to be agreed with the group after that.
The sweater is knitted top down on circular needles. The pattern is on ravelry.com. The sweater is in DK wool in two colours – max 1200m (around 500g) for the main colour and 265m (around 150g) for the contrasting colour. I am offering a 10% discount to anyone purchasing the yarn from my shop for this project.
