Wool and Nylon

When nylon is blended with wool, it creates a durable fabric perfect for socks, which is why most sock yarns are blended. Where possible we try to stock yarns that contain biodegradable nylon, such as Heartspun or Schoppel Wolle. In addition, adding nylon to wool can create a joyously light yet chunky yarn, such as Cloud Tweed, making it possible to create garments which are chunky but not heavy
