Pure Silk

Knitting for Olive’s Pure Silk is made from 100% cruelty-free bourette silk. Bourette silk is a waste product created during silk processing and consists of small and and short silk fibres. Rather than being thrown away, these fibres are used in the production of a new silk product and the short fibres lead to a more matt and rustic looking yarn than other types of silk made from the longer silk threads.
