Inspired by Hallowe’en and their shared love of poetry, this box is a collaboration between Venetia and her daughter, Charlie. The poem in the Box is The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes, a tragic love story with a ghostly theme. The four 100g skeins of soft Yak Sock, a merino and yak blend with just enough nylon to give it sock strength, were dyed by Venetia and inspired by the colours of the poem, purples and greys and red. Charlie did the illustrations for the poem. The yarn could be used for socks, or as a fade in a jumper or shawl.
