Telling Yarns is based on a family farm in Bedfordshire. Sustainability is at the forefront of every decision made. The yarns are sourced from the British mill, John Arbon Textiles in Devon, to provide the very best of British wool. Their custom spin aims to produce a completely British non-superwash that is soft, yet hard-wearing; with enough grip and a little bit of a halo; which feels like home to wear and replaces the need for non-UK, Merino wool blends and particularly mass produced superwash yarn.
The Exmoor Blueface, Bluefaced Leicester, Zwartbles, Wensleydale, Masham and Romney are all from farms local to the John Arbon mill in Devon.
